To develop a Source:
- Switch to Dev stage of the Sandbox to have the developer options, i.e., Admin Menu.
- Click on the Admin Menu → Database → Create Data Source.
From here, start developing a Source using the available creation methods.
You can create a data source by choosing how the data should be collected and combined. Each method builds the structure that downstream features like Reports, Views, References, and Add-ons.
¶ 1. Ways to develop a Source
A source can be developed in four ways as explained below:
- Join: Combine two or more data tables into a single source.
- Merge: Combine two or more sources into one.
- Query: Use SQL queries to fetch data from tables.
- Connector: Pull data from external systems or APIs into a source.
