This is how the Payment Operations Management solution works end-to-end, from a transaction being authorized to leadership reviewing settlement and dispute status.
- A transaction moves through Authorization, Capture, Clearing, and Settlement on the Transaction Tracking Board.
- If the three-way match fails, a Reconciliation Exception is raised and triaged through the Reconciliation Exception Queue.
- If a cardholder disputes a card transaction, a Chargeback Case is raised and moves through Dispute Raised, Merchant Notified, Representment Submitted, Arbitration, and Resolved on the Chargeback Case Board, with TAT alerts firing as the Representment Deadline approaches.
- Refunds of any of the 6 types are requested, approved where required, and tracked to completion against their SLA.
- Throughout, the Payments Ops Dashboard and Settlement Reports give leadership visibility into GMV, settlement cycles, and open disputes.
