A payment gateway is a merchant service (such as Indian Overseas Bank, Payfast, Paytm, Razorpay, Sbipay) that processes secure digital payments for online and hybrid business models.
Quixy supports Payment Gateway Integrations (PGI) that allow payments to be collected directly from Quixy applications. This is commonly used for order processing, workflow-based collections, customer billing, and other account receivable use cases.

An organization using a Quixy app for order management wants customers to pay while placing an order. The admin enables the Paytm (or Razorpay, IOB, etc.) gateway and attaches the payment step to the workflow. When the customer proceeds, payment is collected automatically and reflected in the organization’s gateway account.
