      Data should be easy to interpret, not a puzzle. Gantt Charts and Pivot Reports are now more visually intuitive, making progress tracking and trend-spotting effortless.

      Gantt Chart: Dynamic Color-Coded Progress Bars for Better Understanding of Project Status.

      We’ve made Gantt Chart progression indicators more intuitive! Previously, a single blue color made it hard to gauge progress at a glance. Users had to read percentages to differentiate progress.

      Now, progression indicators can dynamically change colors based on data conditions, making it easier to gauge task completion at a glance. This enhancement ensures users get immediate visual insights without needing to interpret numbers, improving efficiency and decision-making.

      Make sense of your data at a glance! Pivot Reports now use colors to highlight patterns and trends, so you don’t have to scan through numbers to find key insights.

      Introducing Defer Layout in Pivot Tables!

      Working with large datasets in Pivot Tables can sometimes feel like a battle against slow load times and constant reloading. But now, with the all-new Defer Layout feature, that’s a thing of the past!

      Defer Layout ensures that your Pivot Table only updates when you choose to, rather than recalculating everything with each change. This means faster performance, quicker edits, and a smoother experience, even with large volumes of data.

      No more waiting for updates to complete—just efficient, real-time interaction that lets you focus on the insights, not the delays!

      Saved Views

      Similar to Grid Reports, Tasks, and List Views, users can now save personalized views in Pivot Reports by applying filters, sorting, grouping, and more, keeping their custom settings for future use. The saved view will be displayed by default when the Pivot Report is opened, however, users can still navigate to the original report when required.

      2.Your account security just got stronger

      Security is more than just a feature—it’s a foundation. To ensure your accounts are fully protected, we’re introducing enhanced controls and tools for better login security and account access management.

      Here’s how you can enhance your account security:

      MFA + AD/LDAP Authentication – Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) alongside AD/LDAP login for added security. Even if login credentials are compromised, access is still blocked until the one-time password (OTP) sent to the registered mobile number is entered.

      A. Force Logout for Immediate Threat Response – Admins can now log out users immediately if a security threat is detected. This ensures compromised accounts are secured right away. Users will need to reset their password before they can log back in.

      B. Password Reset Cycles – To maintain high security, you can set up regular password changes. This reduces the risk of old or compromised passwords being used.

      C. Stronger Password Enforcement for New Users – New users must create strong passwords before accessing their accounts, eliminating the risk of weak or default credentials.

      With these enhancements, your account security is more robust, so you can work with peace of mind.

      A dedicated Security & Privacy section is now available under Organizational Preferences, consolidating key controls like MFA, SSO, Sessions, and IP Whitelisting, along with a new Password Management section for enhanced account security. Refer to the screen above.

      Introducing Speech-to-Text in applications—convert your words into text instantly! Simply speak instead of typing for faster, hands-free data entry. Perfect for field workers, customer support, healthcare, and anyone who prefers voice input. Just speak, and let the magic happen!

      4.Deliver bulk emails at lightning speed with SendGrid-available on demand!

      Organizations can now accelerate their email delivery with SendGrid, accessible on demand.

      What is SendGrid?

      SendGrid is a cloud-based email delivery service designed for fast and reliable email communication. It ensures high deliverability, reduces email delays, and efficiently handles bulk emails—making it ideal for transactional and notification-based messages.

      How does it help?

      While Quixy provides an in-house SMTP service, and organizations can use their own SMTP provider, bulk emails may experience delays. With SendGrid, emails are delivered at high speed, ensuring timely communication. Organizations that require this service can request activation, and we’ll enable it from the backend.

      5.Introducing Decimal Rounding in Aggregates

      Users can now round off decimal values while applying aggregates across apps, list views, grid reports, and more. This new option ensures cleaner, more precise numerical representation, eliminating unnecessary decimal places for better readability and accuracy.

      6.External DB Connections: Fetch data from PostgreSQL Databases

      We’ve expanded our External DB Connections by adding PostgreSQL alongside MS SQL. Citizen developers can now seamlessly connect to PostgreSQL databases, fetch external data tables, and use them to create data sources, reports, and charts. This enhancement enables effortless data integration and analysis while accommodating diverse business use cases.

      7.Introducing Grouping in Forms!

      Forms just got easier to navigate! With Grouping, you can now bundle related fields together, making forms more structured and user-friendly. No more endless scrolling or searching for the right field—everything is neatly organized, so users can focus, fill out information faster, and avoid mistakes.

      Plus, Citizen Developers can customize groups with colors, styles, and borders, enhancing the form’s look and aligning it with the app’s theme. Grouping not only improves readability but also makes forms visually appealing and effortless to use!

      Usability Enhancements

      1. We’ve introduced the yyyy-MM-dd date format to the existing formats, giving you more flexibility in how dates are displayed and used across applications.

      1. We’ve updated the color palette for Chart Reports in Themes with lighter, more subtle colors for a cleaner and more visually appealing look. The previous deep colors felt heavy, but now charts appear more elegant, balanced, and visually harmonious.

      1. The Unique Records setting in applications ensures that users enter only unique data in every new transaction by either warning or restricting duplicate entries. Now, with this release, Citizen Developers can customize the warning or restriction messages, providing clearer, more relevant guidance to users when duplicates are detected.

      1. Express opinions effortlessly with our new star-based rating system! Now, users can rate out of 5, with the flexibility to choose full or half stars (e.g., 3.5 or 4 out of 5), making feedback more interactive and precise. The ratings can now be captured within applications! We’ve introduced Rating as a new category option in the Number element.

      1. Now, you can add app data fields as columns in TAT Reports, giving a complete view of each transaction alongside its timestamps. This is especially useful for processes where statuses change over time (e.g., New → In Progress → Resolved → Completed), making it easier to track TAT for every status update at a glance.
