    Copy an app


      Article Summary

      This feature is to copy the existing app, and create a duplicate copy of it in the same workspace or in other workspace where you want to copy it.

      • Click on the Apps tab on the Dashboard or click on the Admin Menu and click on the Manage Apps option.

      • The Manage Apps page will open. Click on the Copy App Icon to copy that particular app.

      • The page navigates to the app-copy page.

      • Select a workspace from Select Workspace drop-down in which you want to create the copy of the app.

      • Provide a name for the new app in the New App Name field.

      • You will see three buttons at the bottom of the page.
        1. Copy app 
        2. Copy app without workflow
        3. Reset: Reset is to reset the workspace and new app name fields.

      Copy app (with workflow)

      This button will produce an exact replica (along with workflow) of a selected app. 

      • Click on the Copy app button to copy the app along with the workflow.

      • The page will redirect to the copied app page, and it shows a message, "App has been successfully copied and saved as draft. Click here to edit app" on the page.

      • The copy of the app will be saved in drafts until you publish it.
      • Click on the Click here link to edit the app.

      • The current page will redirect to the Edit App pageYou can edit the app based on your requirements and publish it. (For more information of how to edit the app, refer to Edit App section)
      • For the app to appear in the apps list of the workspace where you created it, you need to publish the app. 
      • If you do not publish the app and exit. The app will save as a draft and you can find it in the Draft Apps section/page.

      Copy app without workflow

      • This button will produce a replica of the selected app but resets the new app's workflow to default. Click on the Copy app without workflow button.

      • The current page will redirect to the copied app page, and it shows a message, "App has been successfully copied and saved as draft. Click here to edit app".

      • The app will be saved in drafts until publish.
      • Click on the Click here link to edit the app.

      • The page redirects to the Edit App page. You can edit the app based on your requirements and publish it. (For more information on editing an app, refer the Edit App article)
      • Once you publish the app, it will display in the apps list of the work space where you created it, or else it will be added to the Draft Apps.
