Global filters let you apply the same filter values across multiple dashboards. A global filter is built using the same Filter and Button dashlets used on dashboards. The filter captures user input, and the button applies the filter. When the value changes, all dashboards that have global filters enabled update together.
Use case
Filter Data Across Multiple DashboardsYou have five dashboards, such as Orders, Logistics, Sales, Production, and Management. Each dashboard shows different data, but all of them share common fields like Order Date, Department, or Status.
Without global filters, you must open each dashboard and apply the same filter separately.
With global filters, you enter the value once and apply it. The same filter value reflects across all applicable dashboards.
