Global filters let you apply the same filter values across multiple dashboards. A global filter is built using the same Filter and Button dashlets used on dashboards. The Filter dashlet captures the filter value, and the paired Button dashlet applies or resets the filter. When you click the Button, the selected filter value is applied across all dashboards where global filters are enabled.
Use case
Filter Data Across Multiple DashboardsYou have five dashboards, such as Orders, Logistics, Sales, Production, and Management. Each dashboard shows different data, but all of them share common fields such as Order Date, Department, or Status.
Without global filters, you must open each dashboard and apply the same filter separately.
With global filters, you enter the value once and apply it. The same filter value is then applied across all applicable dashboards.
