Publishing is the final step in the application development lifecycle. Once all configurations and reviews are complete, you can make the application live for end users or save it as a draft for further updates.
With a single click, applications can transition from design mode to active use.
¶ 1. Publishing Options
Quixy provides two options when finalizing an application:
¶ 1.1. Publish
Makes the application available for use in the selected environment.
¶ 1.2. Save as Draft
Keeps the application in editable status so additional refinements can be made later.
¶ 2. How to Publish an application
- Ensure all changes have been reviewed (optional but recommended).
- Click Publish to finalize and activate the application.
- If you are not ready to publish, click Save as Draft to continue editing later.

¶ 3. Review and Publish for a Published Application
When an application is already published and you make further changes, you can review those changes before publishing by following these steps:
- Click the dropdown arrow on the Publish button.
- Select Review and publish.
- The Version Comparison Report opens, where you can review the changes made under Form, Workflow, Business Rules, Business Validations, and Access Permissions.
- Once reviewed, click Publish to apply the updates.

Note
To make an application available to end users, it must be deployed to the Live Environment.
